Desert Eagle... So cliche. As for you 1911 people, let's get serious here, there are WAY too many variants of the design to generalize like that. Don't give me "1911A1", say "Colt Series 80 government model" or "Kimber TLEII" or even "Old beat to $#!+ Remington-Rand warhorse, the more it rattles, the better", the latter being my personal favorite in the 1911 category.
Anyway, my two cents on handguns, those of you from the Diseased forums know this well, Jericho 941 9mm. More comfortable grip than my 1911, more controllable, more accurate (But of course my 1911 rattles more than my AK, she's a real working girl.).only thing my 1911's got on my Jericho are the two attributes that have made her so popular over the years, the brick-to-the-face stopping power, and that crisp, single action trigger. Of course, gun preference is personal preference, my hand is just in love with the finger grooves paired with the Jericho's curves.
A side note, the Skorpion is anemic of caliber, you're better off with a Bizon in 9x19 if you like commie guns, and forget trying to John Woo those things. You have to be a trickshot to even pop a pair of stationary targets with two guns. Unless you've got independently-operating chameleon eyes, two guns won't give you anything but a capacity increase. Of course, the Skorpion is quite concealable. Makes a nice "Suprise!" machinegun, the .32ACP or 9 Makarov chambering kind of turns me off, though.

I know it ain't a Browning or a Colt. The Steyr-Hahn M1912. Austrian, and had nothing to do with John Moses Browning. Sorry to disappoint. By the way, That last post of mine may have been long, but it was anything but advanced, and this forum appears very dead to begin with.

Huh, I was thinking about the Norwegian clone of the M1911, believe it was only called Kongsberg-Colt. During the WW2 occupation some were produced illegaly, called the Lunchbox-Colts, for some reason... Me dunno

Lunchbox Colt is a nickname given to pistols cobbled together from factory parts certain employees smuggled out, rumor has it many carried away these parts in their lunch boxes. Typically, they lacked serial numbers and inspector marks, and they were indeed quite illegal.

Okay, I did a little more digging and found what you're looking for. According to Wikipedia less than 100 M1912's were made, but the M1914, it's successor, was a more common 1911 clone in .45 ACP made in Norway and used in a limited capacity by the Nazis in WWII. The slide stop is the most markedly different item on this number. As far as I could gather, the markings are the only difference between the 1912 and the 1914.
